My holiday - Chen Longxi (2205 intake - Level 1)

 My holiday

I went to Thailand to visit my parents for a holiday. When I arrived at the airport, my father picked me up and brought me to their home. I was not used to the language of this country and within a few days, I missed China very much.

Then, my parents took me out for a nice dinner. The next day, they brought me to Phuket as it was a popular holiday spot. I took a lot of pictures there. After that, we visited the famous local temples and prayed for good health. It was a very special experience and I started to enjoy Thailand. My mother also took me shopping where we bought many things like fruits and clothes.

 

 

The best part of the trip was when I started learning golf. My father gave me the latest club for my birthday this year and found a coach to teach me too. I have always been very interested in golf and this sport is also a good form of exercise. Finally, it was time for me to return to Singapore. I couldn’t bear to say goodbye to my parents.

I felt very happy because Thailand was a fantastic country. I learnt that we need time to get used to a new place and I hope to visit it again in the future.
