When I was a little girl, I liked drawing everything, no matter what the meaning was. So, one day, my mom took me to a painting class. The teacher told me to drew the first thing in my mind at that moment. I drew the sky, clouds, houses, trees, and I stood in front of the house. After I finished the picture, I gave it to teacher, then the teacher did a magical thing. She changed my painting and made it wonderful. From that day, I knew I couldn't leave painting.
I learnt painting for 10 years and I went to Art University in my hometown. I chose Pottery for my subject. Pottery is a tradition art in China. We learn pottery for three parts, there are design a picture, make pottery and draw colour on it. It is a challenge to me. And when I learn more, I will love more about pottery. Learning Arts not just learn one way to make a work. We need to know many things about it. For example, the shape, the color, the background about arts or artists. Then you will find many interesting things in ARTS.
When I have an idea to make a work, I always try again and again, try to find the best way I think to show my thought or try to express my idea perfectly. Drawing can explain your heart, anything you cannot say it but drawing can. In Art, there is no prejudice, no restraint, no profit. We just do we want to do and even if nobody enjoys, we will never give up. Because we make arts not for someone it’s for ourselves.
